LOT Polish Airlines spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski informed on social media that today 21 April 2022 evening, flights from Warsaw are cancelled due to a bomb threat.

Passengers who wanted to fly out of Warsaw Chopin Airport had huge difficulties. Initially, it seemed that the canceled flights were the aftermath of an air traffic controllers’ strike that was held today. However, according to unofficial findings, Okęcie was closed due to a bomb alarm.

“The Chopin Airport services received a message about a potential threat regarding a flight from Dubai to Warsaw,” airport spokesman Piotr Rudzki said. “After landing, the plane was directed to a remote part of the airport. Take-off and landing operations have been temporarily suspended, ” he added.
