Indian farmers’ protest is an ongoing protest against the three farm acts passed by the Indian Parliament in 2020. The acts have been described as “anti-farmer laws” by farmer unions, while others say it would leave farmers at the “mercy of corporates”.
Supporting the protest, a group of Indians in Poland had gathered in the center of Warsaw today around 11:30AM under the iconic Palace of Culture building, to show their solidarity. The participants were mostly from Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat. Paras Jagga, Jagdip Sandhu, Aman Deep and other participants were holding the placards which said, “I support farmers”, “We stand together with farmers, Warsaw Poland”, “Kisan Ekta Zindabad”, “Revoke the anti-farmer ordinance”, etc.
“Next week, we will also be protesting in front of the Indian Embassy in Warsaw, Poland and there will be many more supporters with us”- says Aman Deep.
