We can postpone the discussion on the adoption of the Euro by Poland. As Rzeczpospolita notes, during the epidemic, we stopped meeting the economy requirements necessary for a given country to enter the euro area. Even if we wanted to, we would not be admitted to the euro area in the current situation.

The Polish public finance deficit in 2020 soared up to 8.9 percent. It is similar with the level of debt. Thus, Poland does not meet the two fiscal criteria for joining the Euro area. WE also do not meet the condition of price stability. We have almost the highest inflation in the entire EU.

Currently, however, there is no chance that we will even be admitted to the vestibule of the euro area. We will return to the EU limit in a few years at best.
