Polska Superliga Tenisa Stołowego is a company founded on September 15, 2009 because of an agreement between men’s table tennis clubs participating in the top league games – the top league, which initiated the establishment of the company.
India’s ace table tennis player Sathiyan Gnanasekaran is competing in the 10-day long Polish Super league that started on Friday. The 28-year-old Gnanasekaran is representing Jaroslaw, the city that is hosting the Polish Super league. He reached Poland on Friday and will return on April 14. According to Gnanasekaran, since several competitions are either being called off or postponed due to coronavirus, participating in the Polish league will keep him match fit.
In the history of the Polish Table Tennis Super League so far, social sports events such as the Grubba Polish Champions tournament (2014), the Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki – Super league All-Stars match (2013), the Diamond Racket gala(2014), Champions Tournament (2011) and the Extra Cup (2012) has been organized, to name the few.
In the quarter-finals of 10 day long Polish Super League 2021, the Indian player won a crucial singles game to help his team beat Bydgoszcz team 3-1 and enter the last-four stage of the competition. The semi-finals will be played on April 7.
