Polish Prime Minister when he met Boris Johnson today in Warsaw said, “Thank you for the presence of British troops in Poland. Today, first of all, we want to manifest together our solidarity with the Ukrainian people, with President Zelensky. They are fighting for freedom, for the independence of Ukraine. We are fulfilling our humanitarian obligations. There are many refugees at the border, we give them shelter, living conditions. This process is going quite smoothly.”
Boris Johnson thanked all those who are involved in helping refugees. “The Polish government and Poles are doing amazing work that inspires and helps humanely. We provide humanitarian aid as well as medical supplies. We are ready to accept refugees from Ukraine. We are ready to accept significant numbers of these refugees”, Boris said.
