Poland is planning to allow pharmacists and physiotherapists to administer COVID-19 shots amid an expected increase in supplies of vaccines.

Meanwhile, nurses as well as doctors would be able to qualify people for shots, a bill introducing the new rules would come before parliament on Tuesday.

A fresh supply of around 507,000 doses of the Pfizer- BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Poland on Monday. Next month, some 7 million vaccine doses from several producers are expected to reach the country, roughly as many as during the first three months of the year.
