On Thursday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, held a press conference on the next easing of restrictions. From June 13, the government introduces new changes to the restrictions, and from June 26, further changes for the holiday period.
“More people will be able to attend church services and more people can cheer at the national stadium. Thanks to the National Vaccination Program, we can announce the easing of restrictions” – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said during a press conference. He also added that the next phases of easing do not mean the end of the pandemic, although he is hopeful.
The next rules will be in force on June 13. It is about the number of people in churches (half of the seats will be occupied) and at the National Stadium in Warsaw. From June 13, it will be possible to sell and consume food and drink in cinemas, theaters and other cultural and entertainment institutions as well as during concerts. Most of the new rules will apply from June 26. The limit for fairs and conferences as well as for sports events and concerts will be changed.
In hotels and holiday facilities, the limit of occupied places will be increased to 75%. Organized groups of children and young people under 12 will not be included in this limit. Trade fairs and conferences that we have recently made available, from June 26, will be able to work in the regime of 1 person per 10 m2, and not, as before, on 15 m2 – said Minister Niedzielski at a press conference.
From 26 June 2021, opening of discos and clubs (limited to 150 people) and 75% seats in cinemas, 75% places in restaurants and cafes will be entertained.
