The Tata Steel Chess Tournament is considered as one of the most prestigious international chess competitions on the international calendar. During its 83 years of history, the so called “Wimbledon of Chess” has been fortunate to welcome an impressive list of renown international chess grand masters from around the world.
The 83rd edition of the prestigious chess tournament, Tata Steel Chess 2021 – will comprise only Masters Event, which will take place from 15-31 January in Wijkaan Zee, the Netherlands. Fourteen top Grandmasters will participate the event, which will be played in 13 rounds, Round Robin system of play. Jan-Krzysztof Duda and Radoslaw Wojtaszek will be representing Poland. Pentala Harikrishna will be representing India.
