At midnight, from Saturday to Sunday, trucks filled with food appeared near the house of the deputy prime minister and PiS president, Jarosław Kaczyński. Farmers from the Agrounia organization scattered vegetables, eggs, meat and laid a dead pig. “This is our gratitude to President Kaczyński for the fact that he does not care about Polish farmers” – said the organizer of the protest.
He also said, “Farmers sell eggs for 15 groszy, while in stores they cost more than PLN 1”. We have been deceived, we have been betrayed – he said, pointing out that the farmers had been waiting for several months for a conversation with Kaczyński and the head of the government Mateusz Morawiecki. He announced that they would return to the houses of the president of the Law and Justice party and other politicians.
