On the night of 8 June 2021, Michał Dworczyk, the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, wrote on Twitter that the relevant state services had been informed in connection with reports of hacking his e-mail, his wife’s inbox, as well as their social media accounts.

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw initiated an investigation after the attack on the e-mail box of Michał Dworczyk. The proceedings are to be conducted by the Internal Security Agency. This offense is punishable by a penalty of 3 months to 5 years imprisonment.

The proceedings will be conducted by the Internal Security Agency under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. The prosecutor’s office at the present stage of the investigation asked the Internal Security Agency to send all collected materials in the case.
