Colors of Unity: Warsaw’s 2025 Holi Festival Fills the City with Joy and Diversity

Despite biting winds and a temperature of just 3°C, Warsaw’s Old Town burst into a kaleidoscope of colors as the city celebrated Holi, the Indian Festival of Colors, with unmatched vibrancy and spirit.

Organized by Razvi Events in collaboration with the India Poland Women Association, the annual celebration drew hundreds of participants from across cultures and communities—Polish locals, Indian expatriates, international students, and tourists—all coming together to celebrate unity, joy, and diversity.

This year’s event stood out not just for its scale but for the resilience and passion it showcased. “Anyone else would’ve stayed indoors on a day like this,” said an attendee, referencing the chilling 32 km/h winds. “But the energy here warms you from the inside.”

Despite weather concerns, the turnout far exceeded expectations. With lively beats from Deejay Viru and Deejay Superman, the festival transformed the city center into a vibrant dance floor, where laughter and music echoed through the streets. Children ran freely, flinging colors in the air, and adults embraced the chaos, united by smiles and clouds of powdered hues.

“The Holi celebration is more than just a party—it’s a message of inclusion, togetherness, and cultural appreciation,” said Razvi Hussaini, founder of Razvi Events. “Seeing people of all backgrounds coming together to celebrate like this is truly magical.”

In a heartfelt message posted after the event, Razvi expressed deep gratitude:

“Despite the chilly and not-so-ideal weather, so many of you showed up—and honestly, my heart is full! I’m incredibly thankful to each and every one of you who came and added so much color and joy to the event. The turnout was far beyond what I expected. Your presence means the world to me—and it’s a big motivation to keep creating even more magical experiences for you all.”

Razvi also announced the next celebration—promising an even more colorful affair—set for June 29th at Mark Kotanski Park.

He extended special thanks to his team and partners:

“A massive shoutout to my amazing team who worked tirelessly for nearly 10 hours in the cold—and all without me being there! Thank you: Agnieszka, Karol, Ricky, Ameya, Viru, Shiv, Sibi, Natalia, Mafii, Sudanshu, the Magic Colors team, Security, our sound technician—and everyone else who lent a helping hand. Big thanks also to the City of Warsaw, the Police Department, Straż Miejska, and the Fire & Safety Department for all your support.”

As the colors fade, the memories linger—a celebration that was not only about tradition, but about connection, warmth, and community in the heart of a cold city.
