Vaccinations against COVID -19 have been in progress in Poland since December 27, 2020. So far, over a million people have been vaccinated.

Poland does not plan to purchase a Russian vaccine for Covid -19, and the planned EU deliveries will allow every willing Pole to be vaccinated by the end of 2021. The timings also depends on the supply from producers under the EU mechanism.

It cannot be said that vaccinations are carried out evenly in relation to the Polish population, because vaccinations are carried out in all voivodships, but due to the fact that there is a restrictions in access to the vaccine, the principle was adopted that for every smaller the vaccination point is for 30 doses of vaccine per week. The government does not rule out obtaining the vaccine also through other channels than the current one.
