During the press conference, the head of the Ministry of Health recalled that the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland and it reached approx. 28 thousand. infections daily at its peak.
Unfortunately, it can be seen recently that this wave has slowed down at around 10,000 infections, which we have been dealing within the last two weeks. It is possible that we have even more difficult days and weeks ahead of us, because it is difficult to count that the vaccinations we count on so much, will protect us in the near future. The spectrum of the third wave, which will start from this level of 10,000 cases, will certainly mean exceeding the limits of the health service efficiency” – says Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski.
Therefore, from December 28 to January 17, Poland is introducing a NATIONAL QUARANTINE. Hotels, ski slopes and shopping malls will be closed. On New Year’s Eve from 19:00 to 6:00, it will be forbidden to go out of the house.
