Bayer intends to launch the new unit in July this year. The Digital Hub will be part of Bayer’s global network. It is to contribute to accelerating the digital transformation of the enterprise. Employees in Warsaw will closely cooperate with teams of existing IT centers in Germany, the USA and other countries around the world.
The company is mainly looking for programmers, people for the position of full stack engineer, data engineer, data scientist – with experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence and operational research. Recruitment has already started and is expected to end in 2022. Already at the end of May this year, Bayer will organize a virtual hackathon, during which IT specialists will be able to work on digital solutions in the field of health and agriculture.
IT specialists have not been able to complain about the lack of work for several years. The pandemic has meant that they have even more offers to choose from. Businesses have accelerated digital transformation. The decision to expand our global digital and IT structures to Warsaw was obvious, given the level of talented IT specialists and university graduates – both in the capital and the whole of Poland.
