Amazon launched its Amazon Prime service on October 12th offering free delivery and video streaming in Poland.

“We are very pleased with the way Polish customers accepted the service launched at the beginning of this year,” Mourad Taoufiki, CEO of, said in a statement.

The Polish Amazon site went live in March and has given the competition a shot in the arm in the country, the report stated. Amazon said it’s pricing its Prime service in Poland at 49 zlotys per year.
