Border guard officers carried out an inspection in the bus, which was travelling to Berlin from Łódź, Poland. There were 6 people (4 men and 2 women) who did not have any identity documents with them. Border guards determined that the detained persons were 6 Indian citizens. They had entered Europe with Hungarian Schengen visa, and then they came to Poland and started living in Łódź. Then they had submitted applications for residence and work permit to the Mazowieckie voivode. Instead of waiting for the case to be examined by the voivode in accordance with the regulations, without documents, they tried to cross the border illegally to get to Germany.  Border Guards in Świecko detained all 6 Indian citizens. An application has been filed to the District Court in Słubice to keep the detained Indian citizens in the Guarded Center for Foreigners.
