Due to the pandemic and the impending economic crisis, the government should temporarily limit the employment of foreigners to Poland. Almost one out of two Poles thinks this way. Women are more radical in this regard.
The public opinion poll UCE RESEARCH and SYNO Poland shows that 48% Poles believe that due to the pandemic and the upcoming economic crisis, the government should temporarily limit the employment of foreigners to Poland. 39% of Poles take the opposite poll. However, 13% has no opinion on this matter.
“Some Poles are simply afraid that foreigners may take their jobs. But in most cases, foreigners fill positions that local candidates are not interested in.” – says Jeremi Mordasewicz, adviser to the board of the Lewiatan Confederation.
