Pushpa 2: Fastest Indian film to collect Rs 1500 crore!

Hyderabad: Pushpa 2: The Rule has not only set new benchmarks at the Indian box office but has also made waves globally, amassing an astounding ₹1508 crore within just 14 days of its release. The film’s overwhelming success is attributed to its gripping narrative, compelling characters, and Allu Arjun’s riveting portrayal of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler.

However, amid the celebrations of this cinematic triumph, controversy has struck the film and its lead star, Allu Arjun. During a heated session in the Telangana Assembly, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi leveled serious allegations against the actor. The allegations center on a tragic incident during the film’s premiere, where a woman lost her life, and a young boy was hospitalized.

Facing legal scrutiny over the incident, Allu Arjun broke his silence, addressing the accusations in a heartfelt statement. Describing the tragedy as an “unfortunate accident,” Arjun emphasized that it was “nobody’s fault, including the police,” and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

“I consider theatres my temple, and it deeply hurts me that such an incident occurred during a celebration of my work,” said the actor. Arjun also dismissed the allegations as baseless, stating, “There is a lot of misinformation, false allegations, and miscommunication about things I’ve allegedly said. I feel humiliated, and this is character assassination.”

The controversy has cast a shadow over the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, but fans and critics alike continue to laud the film for its extraordinary impact on Indian cinema. The industry now awaits further developments in the case, even as the film continues its historic run at the box office.
