Indian University Collaborates with Krakow’s University for Dual-Degree Program

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with the University of Krakow (AGH), Poland, to offer a dual-degree Master of Science (MSc) program in digital production for sustainable manufacturing. The initiative marks a significant step in fostering international academic cooperation and providing students with a global learning experience.

The program, launched officially on Friday with the release of its notice and brochure on the GGSIPU website, is open to graduates from any discipline who have scored at least 60% marks. Candidates must also have completed coursework in mathematics, statistics, economics, or operations research. A 5% relaxation in marks or an equivalent grade is available for students from reserved categories.

Key Details of the Program

  • Application Process: Interested candidates must apply separately to both GGSIPU and the University of Krakow. Applications can be submitted online at ipu.ac.in, with the deadline set for January 20, 2025.
  • Admission Criteria: Admissions will be based on scores from the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), followed by a personal interview.
  • Program Duration and Structure:
    • The course spans four semesters, commencing in March 2025.
    • The first two semesters will be held at the University of Krakow, Poland, while the final two semesters, including an internship, will take place at GGSIPU in New Delhi.
  • Dual Degrees: Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded separate MSc degrees from both GGSIPU and the University of Krakow simultaneously.
